The State of Iowa I know will take notice to this epidemic, we don’t want to lose any programs, no matter what level. Title IX strikes again, when will it stop eliminating opportunities for our student-athletes.

  2. Don Neglay says:

Anyone with a wrestling background understands the importance of saving collegiate wrestling in the United States. It certainly would do me no harm to lose a few lbs. Let’s do this!

The annual total budget for wrestling at Oregon is less than $600,000. Last month the Oregon received donations of well over $100,000,000. So we are eliminating wrestling to save 6/10 of 1% of last months donations?

The number of high school wrestlers makes it one of the most popular prep sports in Oregon. There are more Oregon high school wrestlers than basketball players. Much like baseball dozens of talanted athletes finish their high school careers only to find out that there are precious few collegiate programs for them. West Albany has had a successful wretling program for many years and during those years fewer than 2 dozen have advanced into Division I wrestling programs. If Oregon loses its wrestling program there will be even more quality athletes that cannot reach their potential. Without any doubt there will be potential National champions that won’t ever step on a college wrestling mat.

  6. I would not usually comment to someone’s blog however I am interested in this post therefore I was forced to do so. Straying off topic to a degree, what is your opinion concerning walking? Which is generally being put forward as the best exercise to burn fat.

  7. Jackie says:

It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place.

  8. This is just what I was looking for. Thanks a million. Also, if anyone is interested, I recommend trying TriSlim to lose weight. It’s working great for me.
